The mission of United Boricuas of Georgia, Inc. is to promote an awareness and understanding of the richness of the Puerto Rican culture by sharing our heritage with each other, our children and our communities.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build a united community of positive, responsible citizens that proudly represent Puerto Rico in Georgia and contribute to our community as a whole. Furthermore, we want to cultivate a sense of unity and pride among our members resulting in a supportive and active community that is valued and respected.

Objectives

• To provide members and visitors a forum by which to share the richness of the Puerto Rican culture.
• To educate our members and children of the traditions and richness of Puerto Rican culture.
• To expand our scholarship program for Hispanic students.
• To increase the visibility of the Puerto Rican people within Georgia's multi-cultural society.
• Provide educational, social, and cultural activities for our members and community.
• Decrease prejudice and discrimination by offering membership to all regardless of ethnicity or ancestry with the purpose of sharing the Puerto Rican culture and having the opportunities to learn of the cultures of those members that are not Puerto Rican. Uniting different cultures in an informal setting cultivates the opportunity to understand each other resulting in unity among cultures.
